Silver Chief Engine

When I got the Cherokee, just about anything that could have been neglected was. The oil was black, the brake master cylinder was empty, as was the power steering pump, the AC compressor was missing and there was no belt to the alternator. The carb could barely idle and the jeep was hardly running which the seller was conveniently ignorant of all the neglect. So a new battery was installed along with, a york compressor and dual pulley alternator from a grand wagoneer and all new belts. I got a good used 2150 carb to get it running better. A power steering pump was added because of a bad leak, a new radiator was put it when the old one leaked badly with a new thermostat.

Recently I installed new lifters, rods and rockers only to find out this was a no no. So have done (Nov 02') the Cam Swap and lifters again. In addition I have oil pan gasket and rear main seal, rebuilt oil pump and double roller timing chain.
